Ethical Practices of Technology
The following learning activity on digital literacy displays ethical practice of technology usage and aims to enhance student awareness.
Learning Objective: Given a computer with internet access, eight grade Social Studies students will be able to successfully evaluate websites using the 5 W's of Website Evaluation and will receive a score of 80% or higher on the online Assessment.
Learning Goal: By the end of this lesson you will learn the fundamentals of digital citizenship and how to make right decisions when using the Internet to perform research.
Lesson/Procedure-
In a group discussion discuss the importance in of digital literacy, along with why is it important to be able to successfully evaluating the creditability of a website.
Next,
